American Legion Battlefields Post 144

A non-member of Battlefields Post #144 may rent either the Legion Hall or the Picnic Pavilion on our grounds, or both, for private parties. A Renter will make his or her reservation through the Rental Manager for the Post. The Rental Manager ensures that the Renter’s obligations under the rental Contract are met.

Rental Fees

The Renter is responsible for ensuring the proper and timely payment of fees in accordance with the Contract, as described below. The Renter may forfeit the reservation and all funds paid toward the rental if the Renter fails to follow the payment plan stipulated in the Contract.

It is not the responsibility of American Legion Battlefields Post #144 to remind the Renter of his or her contractural agreements with regard to a rental and payments.

Legion Hall

The Renter agrees to pay the sum of $650.00 USD to rent the Legion Hall.

• The Renter agrees to provide to American Legion Battlefields Post #144 a security deposit of $250.00 USD when the contract is signed to rent the Legional Hall.
• The Renter agrees to pay the balance of the rental fee ($400.00 USD) no later than thirty (30) days prior to the rental event.
• The Renter shall forfeit all deposits and fees if the Legion Hall is left uncleaned or the Renter or his/her agents or guests violate any term of the Contract.

Picnic Pavilion

A Renter agrees to pay the amount of $175.00 USD to rent the Picnic Pavilion only. Rental of this facility does not provide access to the Legion Hall. All other stipulations regarding rentals (except for items specific to the Legion Hall) remain in force.

Combined Rental

The Renter agrees to pay the sum of $725.00 USD to rent both the Legional Hall and the Picnic Pavilion simulataneously.

• The Renter agrees to provide to American Legion Battlefields Post #144 a security deposit of $300.00 USD when the contract is signed to rent both the Legional Hall and the Picnic Pavilion.
• The Renter agrees to pay the balance of the rental fee ($425.00 USD) no later than thirty (30) days prior to the rental event.
• The Renter shall forfeit all deposits and fees if the renrted Post facilities are left uncleaned or the Renter or his/her agents or guests violate any term of the Contract.
