If you look in the Post Home photo album on this Web site, particularly the Post Home, you’ll note that the Day Room is open. There are pictures of members enjoying the first on what is hoped to be many activities.

What’s missing in these photos? More members. It’s our day room, envisioned are movie nights, more races, football, baseball, soccer, tennis and yes even golf to watch.

In order for this to happen, you need to come out and support your Post. There may be any number of reasons for not attending meetings or functions, but these surely can be overridden by the important programs the American Legion funds through the activities of your Post.

The support we provide to local charities, programs, and groups can only be funded by the positive actions of all members. In addition to the Day Room, we’re actively working on the first Sunday breakfast program (7:30 – 11:30 A.M.) and offer meals before meetings (5:30 – 6:30 P.M.).
