Comrade Snell Recognized by VDoT

Doug Snell, a member of Battlefields Post 144 was recently nominated for The Governor’s Award for Community Service and Volunteerism.

Doug is employed by Virginia Department of Transportation.as a statewide Integrated Supply Services program coordinator in the Central Office—Fiscal Division represented the agency in the Community Service and Volunteerism category.

Doug has volunteered his time and services to more than eight non-profit programs in 2008 alone. By his example, others know one man can make a difference in the lives of others.
